dotMoney

Money that works like a file.

Choose an amount and make it a money file. Drag it into Finder, attach it to a message, or send a link that opens in a browser. With dotMoney on two nearby iPhones, you can pass it directly between them.

A Lightspark prototype for Mac and iPhone. Try it with test money: every new wallet starts with $100 of it.

Send through apps you already use. Paste a link into a message or email. The recipient can accept it in their browser without installing anything. If they have dotMoney, you can send a .money file instead.
Hand it over in person. Open dotMoney on two nearby iPhones and pass the money from one to the other. The recipient can accept it or send it back.
It can only be claimed once. Copying the file doesn’t multiply the money. Once someone accepts it, the other copies can’t claim it.
Take it back before it’s accepted. You can cancel while the money is unclaimed. If it expires, the funds return the next time you open dotMoney.
